Travis Zimpfer is a writer and multimedia journalist. He graduated from the University of Missouri, majoring in journalism and English in 2013 and most recently received his Master of Arts in English at the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2019. His journalism has appeared in The Missouri Times, the (sadly) now-defunct The Lake Today, and its sister publication, the Jefferson City News-Tribune. His academic writing areas of interest include emerging media, ecocriticism, posthumanism, postmodernism, pop culture and post-1945 American literature. In his spare time, he practices guitar, hikes, plays video games and writes fiction.
